Ruslan Khais is a Moldavian-born artist who emigrated to the United States from the former Soviet Union in 1993. As a student at the Pennsylvania of Fine Arts, he has won many awards, including the Thomas Eakins Memorial Prize for Figure Painting, the Charles Crawley Prize for landscape painting, and the Robert Carlen Memorial Prize for aqueous media on paper.
